Peter Knapp will lead a walk through Rochester’s only old growth woods, the Washington Grove, at the top of Cobbs Hill. Following worship, hikers will gather and have lunch (bring your own) in the CoS fellowship hall. The group will depart at 12:30 for Cobbs Hill (carpooling encouraged). The hike is about a mile and is relatively flat. At the top, in addition to an old growth forest, hikers will explore 2 abandoned water tanks that have become one of Rochester’s favorite spots for graffiti art. The hike should last about one hour. A map/instructions will be shared at lunch.
